A huge congratulation to our very own Uvinya Munasinghe, for winning the Geoffrey Bawa Trust's "Bench It" Design Competition 2025!
Her winning entry, "Rooted in Stillness", stood out for its conceptual clarity, contextual sensitivity, and buildability—a beautiful tribute to Bawa's legacy of thoughtful design.
The bench will soon be installed at the entrance of the Bawa Space at 42/1 Horton Place, Colombo 07, where it will welcome visitors to the Trust's archives, library, and exhibition space.
